There is one thing that even the cleanest swimming pools can not avoid, mineral deposits. Ever notice the white substances that stick on the tiles of your pool? These substance are known as calcium or lime deposits. This white residue is formed when pool water is evaporates. Then it can leave behind mineral deposits on your pool tiles. Thus, depositing the surface of the tiles with a cloudy white appearance.  Having them cleaned can be very time consuming. We at Pool Cleaners Port Orange can help take this stress off your hands. This does not mean that you cannot do this yourself at home but why not leave it to the pros. Here are some reasons why you should hire our services for brushing and tile service!

We Have Access to the Materials Necessary to Do the Right Job
Now let me ask you quick question, what materials will you use to brush that irritating white substance away from your tiles? Common household materials? If that is your only option, then you won’t get the results that you desire. You could always turn to YouTube for a tutorial, but that can lead to additional costs and more of a headache. The reason is because household cleaning chemicals may not be able to properly and safely clean your pool tiles. At Pool Cleaners Port Orange, our pool cleaning staff are equipped with the appropriate materials and cleaning agents necessary for the efficient brushing away of calcium deposits from the tiles of your pool. So, when you call us to schedule, you can be assured that your pool tiles will look as clean and fresh as new.

We Offer Tile Blasting Services Also
Apart from brushing, we use other techniques to expel the white slimy substance that cover the tiles of even the most maintained pools. Blasting can be a very effective way to clean and maintain tiles in order to preserve their appearance and condition for longer. Generally, there are three different blasting techniques that can be used; soda blasting, glass bead blasting, and salt blasting. Here, at Pool Cleaners Port Orange, our pool cleaners have a mastery of all these techniques and can determine which is best for your pool. All of these techniques have their pros and cons and should only be used in certain conditions. Our guys know the best ways to apply these techniques for your benefit.

Glass Bead Blasting
This technique uses a powerful stream of extremely fine glass beads to loosen tile residue. The beads used are very small — no larger than a needle tip. They are very effective in getting rid of grit, mineral buildups, and oil from the surface of your pool tiles. One of the amazing things about the glass bead blasting technique is that it does not impact the pH balance of the water in your pool and will not scratch the surface of your pool.

Soda Blasting
Soda Blasting uses baking soda instead of glass beads in a gentler streaming fashion. This method works particularly well on ceramic, pebble, and stone tiles. However, one of the consequences of this technique is that it may change the pH level of your pool.

Salt Blasting
Salt Blasting uses a naturally occurring mineral known as kieserite to remove calcium deposits from the surface of your tiles. When the salt comes into contact with the dirty tiles, it causes the releases of the build-up of dirt. This is perhaps the safest tile cleaning method because it has a neutral pH.
